Moving Through a Transition

Change can be uncomfortable—and sometimes unexpected. So what do we do when it shows up?

First, decide.
Decide to pause, breathe, and be intentional.

Be intentional in giving yourself grace, understanding, and accountability. This helps you embrace discomfort and strengthen your ability to overcome obstacles.

I get it—it’s scary. It may even feel unnatural. But remember: what’s new often does.

As you lean in, slow down, and practice trusting yourself, recall a time you made it through hardship. Notice what carried you then.

Now that you’re grounded and have created space for intentionality, ask yourself: What change would I like to make during this time? What’s my goal for this transition?

You are human, which means growth is already happening. So, I’ll ask you again: practice trusting yourself. Go back to that memory of overcoming, and claim your resilience.

And if it still feels hard—that’s probably because it is. That’s okay.

Take a moment. Reach out to your support system—including the musicians, artists, or books that remind you of your strength. Let them fuel you as you face this transition.

You’ve done hard things before.
You can do this one, too.
